It all started with color blobs and scribbles. In the process, it turned into a landscape—not a specific place, but perhaps a mixture of places I’ve seen and imagined. I was eager to finish this 36x36 painting in 2024, but completing it on the first day of 2025 feels just as good. I’m ready to let it go. Becoming an abstract painter has been an amazing journey, and it’s just the beginning. This year, my goal is to become a full-time artist. These pieces have found their new home! I’m so happy and grateful that they’ll receive more attention and love, and begin their journey out of my studio and into the world.
