Hi! I'm Eunmee
I work mainly with acrylic paint but am expanding
it to mixed media lately. Even though I don’t have a specific subject to paint, I am often drawn to organic shapes, the sense of movement, playful brush strokes and vibrant colors. I paint intuitively yet try to find the balance and harmony between various elements.
Background
Eunmee Kim is originally from South Korea. She currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta where she works as an abstract painter & graphic designer.
Her journey into the art & design field started with Architectural design. She studied Architectural design in college and graduate school in South Korea.
After she moved to Canada , Eunmee started working as a graphic designer and pursued her passion to be an artist on the side.
During this creative journey she discovered her love for abstract painting around 2019. She started her consistent art practice ever since.
